Rooftop Reset
Foam Rolling & Sound Bath - Saturday July 18th
10 AM - 12PM
Release. Restore. Reconnect.
Join us for a unique rooftop experience that combines the physical benefits of myofascial release with the restorative power of live sound healing.
Set against the backdrop of Portland’s skyline and open sky, this two-hour experience is designed to help your nervous system, and reconnect with your body in a meaningful way.
As we start the morning, we will gather in community and set a personal intention for the experience ahead.
You will experience the benefits of myofascial foam rolling, which helps release muscle tension and ease restrictions within the fascia (the connective tissue that supports and connects your entire body), while sound healing supports relaxation and nervous system regulation.
From there, you will be guided through a 60-minute myofascial foam rolling practice led by Michelle while Judith creates a live soundscape using crystal singing bowls throughout the session.
As physical tension begins to release, the soothing frequencies of the bowls support the body and mind in settling into a deeper state of ease and relaxation.
The session concludes with a brief guided meditation, restorative sound experience, and an opportunity to share reflections before we close our time together.
Whether you are carrying stress, physical tension, mental fatigue, or simply seeking a different way to care for yourself, this experience offers an opportunity to slow down, breathe deeply, and create space for restoration.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This two-hour experience includes:
a welcoming circle and intention-setting practice
a brief introduction to myofascial release and sound healing
a 60-minute guided myofascial foam rolling session led by Michelle
live crystal singing bowls played throughout the practice by Judith
a closing guided meditation and sound experience
a reflection circle where participants are invited to share insights, experiences, and shifts from the session
While sharing is always optional, speaking our experiences out loud often help us integrate what we have learned, deepen our awareness, and strengthen the intentions we have set for ourselves.
There is nothing to achieve.
Nothing to prove.
Simply an opportunity to release what your body no longer needs to carry and reconnect with yourself beneath the open sky.
Benefits of This Experience
While every person’s experience is unique, participants often report:
reduced muscle tension and physical discomfort

improve range of motion
a greater sense of ease in the body
deeper breathing and relaxation
nervous system regulation and stress relief
a quieting of mental chatter
increased clarity and focus
feeling grounded, centered, and present
a deeper connection with themselves
Some people leave feeling physically lighter and more open.
Others notice a sense of calm they haven’t felt in weeks.
Many experience both.

What Makes This Experience Unique
Most wellness experiences focus either on physical release or deep relaxation.
This experience intentionally combines both.
Michelle guides participants through a carefully designed myofascial foam rolling practice that helps release tension patterns stored throughout the body while Judith creates a live soundscape using crystal singing bowls.
As the body begins to release physical restrictions, the sound supports the nervous system in settling into a deeper state of relaxation and presence.
Together, movement and sound create an experience that is both therapeutic and restorative, helping participants feel more open, balanced, and connected.
What to bring
To make your experience as comfortable as possible, please bring:
a yoga mat
a blanket for the closing meditation
a water bottle
comfortable clothing you can move in
layers, as rooftop evenings in Portland can become cool or breezy
We will have a limited number of extra mats and blankets available if needed.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
There is something powerful about coming together with others who are also choosing to slow down and care for themselves.
For two hours, you are invited to step away from daily demands and reconnect with your body, your breath, and the present moment.
Together, we create a space for release, restoration, connection, and renewal beneath the open sky.
This experience may not be for you if:
• you are looking for a traditional fitness class
you prefer fast-paced workouts over mindful movement
you are searching for a quick fix rather than a restorative experience
you are unwilling to slow down and listen to your body
you are not open to exploring the connection between physical release and nervous system healing
This experience meets you where you are and invites your body to do what it was designed to do: restore, and rebalance.
This is powerful work.
And it works because you’re willing to give yourself this time.
